Herbalife Weight Loss Program

MY HERBALIFE EXPERIENCE



I used to work in a retail company which requires me to be physically fit for I handle most of the complaints. My husband has been going abroad for almost 20 years already. He would normally stay for a few months here then abroad for another 9 months. My dilemma is that I've gaining about 3-4 kilos whenever he is here. 

 
This year, we've both decided that he stay longer for us to focus on having a baby. And so from 51 kilos, I gained 12 more kilos more in the span of 1 year. As for him, I'm not sure how much he gained 'cause he's not as health conscious as I am. 

The weight is not just the issue but the heaviness you feel everyday or when you see that your clothes doesn't fit anymore. You know that something is wrong with your diet but you just don't know where to start. I don't post that much pictures of myself either because I feel fat.  

In one of our interior decor projects, we met a couple whose whole family  made Nutrilife part of their daily diet. As part of our customer service, we often bond with our customers to get to know them better. So, we ended up signing up with The Herbalife Nutrition 10 Day Program. 

Here are the initial screening and results after 10 days:

Bone Mass : 6.6 - No change 
Basal Metabolic Rate: 1658 to 1637
Metabolic Age :65 to 62
Muscle Mass : 122.4 to 121.2
Physique Rating : 3 - No change 
Total Body Water % : 50.3% to 51%


This information is new to us, the visceral fats, metabolic rate & age. Things that other fitness trainer/ coach  wouldn't talk about. Our idea of diet is skipping meal but with Herbalife, it is all about making healthy choices.  

 
Basing on the our Basal Metabolic Rate (Calories Burned at Rest) we were asked to follow a meal plan:

 Meal Plan for the Ladies : 1100 calories/day 

Breakfast:  

Aloe Concentrate 
Herbal Tea Concentrate
Shake with Oats & Banana     150 calories


Lunch: 

1 cup rice or 1 cup veggies      200 calories
1 Chicken or 1 Fish                    300 calories

4pm Snack: 
Shake with Water Only               80 calories 

Dinner: 
1/2 rice or 1/2 veggies              100 calories 
1 Chicken or 1 Fish                    300 calories 


Maintain : 8-16 glasses of water 
No Sugar, Salt, Soy Sauce nor any artificial seasoning. 
No skipping of meals 
No coffee
No softdrinks 



Meal Plan for Men : 1600 calories/day 


Breakfast:  

Aloe Concentrate 
Herbal Tea Concentrate
Shake with Oats & Banana     150 calories

Lunch: 
1 cup rice or 1 cup veggies       200 calories
 2 Chicken or 2 Fish                   600 calories

4pm Snack: 
Shake with oats & banana         150 calories 
or Shake with non fat / 
soya milk

Dinner: 
1 cup rice or 1 cup veggies       200 calories 
1 Chicken or 1 Fish                    300 calories 



Maintain : 8-16 glasses of water 
No Sugar, Salt, Soy Sauce nor any artificial seasoning. 
No skipping of meals 
No coffee
No softdrinks 

Lifeline : banana, apple, boiled egg or sweet potato. 

Limit it to 1 pc per day. These are your options in case you feel like eating more or when you're out and missed the time that you should be eating or taking your Formula 1 Nutritional Shake Mix
 

 There are many do's and don't but one thing that our coach taught us, is if you want to eat something. Don't deprive yourself of it just don't eat too much. 
 



Shake Recipe with 150 Calories     
1/2 cup water 
3 pcs. ice cubes 
1/2 banana
2 tbsp. oats 
1 sachet (25g) of Formula 1 Nutritional Shake Mix


   Changes Made on Our Diet 
  • We switched from Palm Oil to Canola & Olive Oil 
  • From Full Cream Milk to Non-Fat / Skimmed Milk 
  • From Artificial Seasoning to Herbs 
  • Removed Soft drinks and coffee from our diet 
  • Eat more veggies 
  • Minimized our intake of pork and beef. 
  • Eat more chicken and fish
  • Check on the nutritional content of the food we eat. 
  • Cooked low calorie recipes 
  • Add healthy choices for our grocery list 
  • Plan the meal for lunch and dinner
  
Herbalife Weight Loss Program

You will spend the first 10 days at the coach's house for breakfast.  This is to monitor your progress and also provide support if you have any concern. Weigh in will be done of the 6th day and on the 11th day. Now, if there has been no progress. You can't sign up for the Nutrilife Membership. 

The only reason for anyone not to loss weight is if the diet plan has not been followed. 

HERBALIFE PRODUCTS 10 DAYS PROGRAM PRICE

1 sachet will cost you P72.00 each and in 1 day you will be required to take 2 sachets. Now, if your coach don't do appointments during Sundays, you are required to take the Nutritional Shake but that will not be counted to the 10-Day Program. In turn,you will spend additional 6 sachet.

10 Day Program = P1,400.00
Additional 6 Sachet = 432.00
Total                          P1,832.00


 Now, if you've made any progress and decided to be a member that will cost you P1,857.00. That would amount to P3,689.00. The membership is extended to your spouse and is transferable to your children. There is also a renewal fee of P400.00 annually.

This is not like MLM Network wherein they are required to recruit members. Being a member entitles you to 25% discount which can increase up to 50% depending on your purchases.
